LESLIE BREWER OF COVINGTON PASSES JUNE 1
 
Leslie R. Brewer, 81, husband of Clennie McNabb Brewer of Covington,
died at 11:45 p.m., June 1, in Covington.  He was formerly of Wolfe
County, but had been in Covington for a number of years.  He was a
retired chrome plater, and worked in missionary work for the Lord for
most of his life.  He was the son of the late James and Anna Belle
Ratliff Brewer.
 
Survivors include four sons, Carl Brewer of Fort Mitchell, Kelly Brewer
of Covington, Charles Brewer of Chicago, Ill., and Walter Brewer, Tampa,
Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Fitzgerald, Covington; two brothers,
Tom Brewer, Verona, KY and Ray Brewer, Newtonville, Ohio; one sister,
Mrs. Oma Koppenhoffer, Florence, Ky.: 17 grandchildren and 23 great
grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held at the Lower Laurel Baptist Church at Trent
with Rev. Charles Brown officiating.  Burial was in the O' Hair Cemetery
at Trent with Porter and son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements,
Grandsons served as casket bearers.
