Wolfe County News - April 1952		

ANDREW COX, 71 DIES IN FAYETTE	

Andrew Butler Cox, 71 Beattyville, merchant and a member of the Masonic 
Lodge for more than 50 years died at 2:10 o'clock this morning in St. 
Joseph's hospital, Lexington, after serveral months illness.

He had lived here the past 33 years, having been reared in Wolfe County 
where he attended the public schools.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Hurst Cox, two sisters, Mrs. 
Nancy Meadows and Miss Rose Cox both of Albuquerque, N.M. and  two 
brothers, E.L. Cox, Morton, Texas and P.C. Cox, Tulsa, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at the Beattyville Christian church, 
11:30 a.m. Wednesday after which the body will be taken to Lexington for  
interment.
