Death claimed "Uncle" Will Clark as he was known by his friends and loved ones at 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon, February 23. He had been ill for some time but no one realized he was quite so ill until Sunday afternoon. He was 76 on his last birthday, which was February 2. He is survived by his wife, Aunt Nan Clark of Hazel Green, three brothers, Cud Clark of Eldorado, O., Porter Clark of Columbus, O., and John Clark of Toliver; also three sisters, Mrs. Emma Rose, Eldorado, O., Mrs. Mollie Wills of Toliver, and Mrs. Rowie Carter of Wisconsin. Several nieces and nephews and other relataives survive. Funeral services were conducted by Prof. H.A. Stovall at the Hazel Green Christian Chruch and he was assisted by Rev. N.C. Carpenter. The church choir provided the hymns. Funeral arrangements were in charge of E.A. Arnett and burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery. Pallbearers were Darlie Rose, Clifford Wills, Bert Tutt, Bob Mayabb and Elmer Neff. Out of town guests attending the funeral wre Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tutt and daughter of Stillwater, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mayabb of Bethel, Mr. and Mrs. Darlie Rose, of Eldorado, O., Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wills of Toliver, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Elkins of Cincinnati, O., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Neff, of Gillmore and Mr. Rollie Clark, Campton. ************************************************************************* USGENWEB ARCHIVES NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by any other organization or persons.
