WOLFE COUNTY NEWS, August 10, 1949

A.F. JOHNSON DIES IN COLUMBUS, OHIO

A.F. Johnson died at his home, 289 Dana  Ave. Columbus, O., July 29 at 
7:00 p.m.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Lacey Johnson; five 
sisters, Mrs. Millie Lacey, Lexington, Mrs. Lou Jones of Eldorado, Iowa, 
Mrs. Will Davis of Cotati, Calif., Mrs. F.F. Cecil and Mrs. Cala Barker 
both of London, O., one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lon Johnson, Hazel Green; 
and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Monday evening, August 1, in Columbus, 
O.,  The body was brought to the Hazel Green cemetery for burial on 
Tuesday afternoon.

Rev. J.R. Nevius, pastor of the Hazel Green Christian church, had 
charge of burial service at the cemetery.

Numerous friends and relatives from out of town were here to attend the 
funeral.
