DEATH CLAIMS MRS. LOU ELLEN CHAMBERS	

Mrs. Lou Ellen Chambers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Byrd, 
died on September 15, at the age of 75 years.

She became a member of the Methodist Church at the age of 13 and lived 
in a consistant Christian life thereafter.  In later life she 
transferred her membership to the Church of God.

She was wed to Joseph J. Chambers on November 11, 1897.  To this union 
were born five children, namely: Loucinda Good, Baptist, Shirley 
Chambers, Houston, Texas; Sarah Ann Griffith, Breathitt county; Joe Campbell 
Chambers of Dayton, O., and Lillie Swango of Baptist.  All of them are 
living.

She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. G.W. Halsey of Middletown, 
O., Mrs. Benjamin Sewell of California, Ky., and one brother, W.L. Byrd, 
of Middletown, OH.

She also leaves a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends 
who will mourn her passing.
