ELOISE BUCHANAN TAKEN BY DEATH AT STILLWATER HOME	

The many relatives and friends of Eloise Buchanan were deeply grieved 
by her death which occurred on May 12, 1948.

She had been in poor health for some time and was 30 years of age at 
the time of her death.  Surviving are her father, Henry Buchanan of 
Stillwater, a sister, Mrs. Edith Lynn of Houstinville, Ky, many other 
relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Combs and 
interment was to be the family cemetery on Stillwater.  The Rev. Kirby 
Williams and C.C. Osborne officiated.  Many beautifl floral tributes 
were sent by relatives and friends.

Eloise was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.  Her death is a 
great loss to all who knew her but the fact that she lived and died a 
Christian and the manner in which she answered the last call is a great 
comfort to those who are left to mourn her.
