FLAVE CECIL A Heart attack proved fatal to J. Flave Cecil, 53, youngest son of the deceased Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cecil of Morgan county, near Hazel Green, on Sunday, June 16 near noon. Mr. Cecil's last words were spoken to his wife as he walked though the house, where she was preparing dinner, to the front porch. Attracted to the front porch by a loud noise and the sudden barking of the dog, a few minutes later, Wilma Clay Cecil, the daughter found him stricken. He was unable to utter a word and died a moment later in his daughter's arms. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Cecil, a son, Charles Edward Cecil, recently honorably discharged from the Coast Guard, where he was a Lieutenant, i.g., a daughter, Wilma Clay, who is a faculty member of Morgan County High School at West Liberty, one sister, Mrs. Jim Perkins, Charleston, Ill, and four brothers, Mr. Mort Cecil, Murphy Fork, Messrs Clay and Arlie Cecil, Mt. Sterling and Mr. John Cecil, DeLand, Fla., besides numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and a host of friends. Hearne's Funeral Home of Stanton, KY had charge of the funeral arrangements. The services for the deceased will be conducted at the Methodist Church at Hazel Green on Wednesday morning at ten o'clock. Mr. Floyd Rose will preach the funeral, assisted by Mr. Bassett of Campton.
