DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ALMA COX

Mrs. Alma Cox, 62 died on Saturday morning, August 24 at eleven o'clock 
in Middletown.  Mrs. Cox had only been sick a week.  She was brought 
back to Kentucky for burial.

Funeral services were held in the Grassy Lick Cemetery on Tuesday, 
August 27 at 2:00 p.m. where the body was interred.  The Rev. Harlan 
McClure of Catlettsburg, a life long friend of the family, had charge of the 
Funeral service.  Hearne Funeral Home of Campton had charge of the 
interment.

Mrs. Cox is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Omer Catron of Campton, and 
one son, Fielden Cox of Lexington, who is a student in the State 
University.  Six step-children, Elmer Cox, Goebel Cox, Mrs. Curt Stamper, Mrs. 
Harlan Stamper, Mrs. Gertrude Williams and Golden Honn.

Mrs. Cox was a staunch member of the Baptist church.  She leaves a host 
of friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
