Obits: Creech, Noah, died Jan. 1948 Oct. 2002 Wolfe County, KY Submitted by: http://www.rootsweb.com/~archreg/vols/00001.html#0000062 Wolfe County Genealogy and Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Wolfe County News, Feb. 6, 1948 NOAH CREECH IS VICTIM OF ACCIDENT Noah Creech, formerly of Wolfe County, was accidently killed in the oil field last week in Michigan and he was brought back to Wolfe county and buried in the family cemetery at High Falls, on Monday Feb. 2. It seems a strange coincidence that so many of the same family have met death accidentally. Noah's father, Jonathan Creech was killed near his home at High Falls, a few years back while walking along the road side. He was struck by a passing car and killed. Noah's brother, John Creech and three sons were killed about three years ago, when the car in which they were riding was struck by a train at a railroad crossing in Michigan, near their home. All of the family have been have been brought back and buried in the family plot at High Falls. Our hearts are deeply troubled by so much tragedy in one family. ************************************************************************* USGENWEB ARCHIVES NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by any other organization or persons.
