BAILEY, 77 DIES SUDDENLY J.T. Bailey, 77 years, 10 months and 14 days of age, was called away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22. He had been out to milk and came back and sat down in the porch swing while Mrs. Bailey busied herself in the kitchen. When Mrs. Bailey came out on the porch about half an hour later, taking the pail of milk from his hands, she found Mr. Bailey lying in the swing dead. He had been suffering with heart attacks recently and it was supposed that was what took his life. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Manda Bailey, four daughters, Mrs. Nannie Brown, of Campton; Mrs. Etta Kelly of Middletown; Mrs. Betty Scott of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Ada Mollman of Florida; two sons, Russell Bailey of Cincinnati and Harry Bailey of California; 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Julia Collins, Pomeroyton, KY, and Mrs. Eva Hale of Frenchburg, and a brother, Enos Bailey of Dayton, OH. Mr. Bailey lived to a ripe old age and leaves many friends as well as relatives to mourn his passing. He lived in Middletown for 28 years previous to coming to Campton. He has been a resident of Campton for about 14 years. Funeral services were held in the Baptist Chruch at Campon, on Tuesday, at two o'clock and were conducted by the Rev. Earl Morris of VanLear, Ky.
