LENGTHY ILLNESS FATAL IN WOLFE TO LAURA BOOTH

Campton, Ky - Funeral services were conducted at the Campton Baptist 
Church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Laura E. Boothe, 69, who died here early 
Saturday afternoon following a lingering illness.  The Rev. Joe Profitt 
was the officating minister and burial was in the Evans Cemetery.

Mrs. Boothe was the grandmother of Harold Glenn Boothe, 18 year old son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Boothe, who was drowned near Lombard, September 
21 when the car in which he and two other boys were riding overturned 
into Middle Fork.

She was the mother of Taylor Boothe, Supt. of Wolfe County schools.  
Other survivors include her husband, M.H. Boothe, Campton, two other 
sons, Orville Boothe, Campton and Curtis Boothe, Cincinnati.  One daughter 
Mrs. Lanie Miller, Campton, two sisters and two brothers.

Hearne Fuenral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.
