L.A. BROWN, 76 DIES IN SLEEP AT HAZEL GREEN

L.A. Brown, age 76, was found dead in bed Satruday morning, July 19, 
when his wife went to awaken him.  He had been in very poor health for 
sometime and had a very bad heart condition.  If he had lived until 
Sunday they would have celebrated their 54th Wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown have been making their home at the Hazel Green 
hospital for the past year since his health has been so bad.

Hearne Funeral home prepared the body for burial and Wells Funeral Home 
of Hamilton was called to transport the body back to their home in 
Hamilton, Ohio where funeral services and burial will take place, possibly 
on Tuesday of this week.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alta Brown, and two sons, W. Delmer of 
Hazel Green, and Clifford, of Hamilton, Ohio.  Also two sisters; Mrs. 
Susie Botts, of Cincinnati, and Burd of Washington, and other relatives 
and many friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown have been making their home in Hazel Green for the 
past year and have endeared themselves to many people here.  He was a 
retired interior decorator.
