He was the son of Rosalind Center and the late Dr. G.M. Center of Stillwater, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Juda Cox Center, of Dayton, Ohio and two sons, Marvin Earl, and Herbert both of Dayton, Ohio, and four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Leach and Mrs. Ruth Beldon both of West Frankfort, Il, and Mrs. Mattie Nestor, Guam, and Mrs. Virginia Kotter of Dayton, Ohio, several grandchildren, and one brother, Dan Center of Berea, Ky and five sisters, Mrs. Ella Tutt, Nicholasville, KY., Mrs. Viola Shackelford, Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Mae Rayner, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Bertha Lovelace, Campton, and Mrs. Carma Buchholzer of Dayton, OH, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Chapel of Hazel Green Academy with Mr. H.A. Stovall officiating and Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton, Ky., in charge of arrangements. The Masonic order of Campton and Hazel Green assisted with the funeral and had charge of the burial service at the Evans Cemetery at Campton, which was immediately after the funeral.
