DEATH LAYS CLAIM TO CLAYTON CENTER

Clayton Center, 66 died on Monday, July 26 at his home near Hazel 
Green.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Center, four sons, Dorsey and 
Clayton, Jr. of Middletown, O., Hobert of Indianapolis and Gene Center, 
who lives at home with his parents.  Five daughters, Mrs. Daisy Taylor 
of Fixer, MI., Bonnie Center of Dayton, O., Mrs. Nova Taulbee of 
Dayton, and two sisters also live in Louisville, Gertrude and Roberta.

Several grandchildren, two brothers, Porter Center of Dayton, and D.H. 
Center of Berea College, numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.  
Five sisters, Mrs. Ella Tutt of Nicholasville, Mrs. Viola Shackelford, 
Middletown, Mrs. Mae Rayner, Dayton, Mrs. Carmie Buchhozler, Dayton and 
Mrs. Bertha Lovelace of Campton and his mother, Mrs. Rosaline Center, 
who is staying with Mrs. Lovelace in Campton this summer.

Mr. Center has been ill for a long time but has been able to be up part 
of the time and get around.

Funeral services, were conducted by Rev. Wendell Taylor, Pastor of the 
Hazel Green Christian Church on Wednesday afternoon and burial was in 
the local cemetery immediately afterwards.
