JOHN BOOTH, 87 CLAIMED JUNE 18

John Booth, 87, died at his home at Zachariah Thursday, June 18.  He 
was a native of Wolfe county and a member of the Church of God.  He was a 
son of the late Billy Booth.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belle Chapman Booth of Zachariah, and 
four sons, Marion Booth of Germantown, Ohio, Ed Booth of Barbourville, 
Harrison Booth of Lexington and Duford Booth of Zachariah, and Mrs. 
Lula Ross of Winchester: one sister, Mrs. Emma Turner of Campton; six 
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services were conducted at the Torrent Church of God at 2 p.m. Sunday, 
June 21 with Rev. James Clark officiating.  Burial was in Evans 
Cemetery.  Porter and Son Funeral Home was in charge.
