Wolfe County News - Nov. 28, 1956

FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR COUNTY NATIVE	

Richmond Brewer, son of the late Green and Hannah Brewer was born April 
11, 1885, and died on November 17, 1956 at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Robert Profitt, in Middletown, Ohio.  Mr. and Mrs. Brewer had gone 
to Middletown, a month prior to his death to make thier home for the 
winter with their daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Cockerham Brewer, three sons, 
Arnold, Arthur and Dorsey Brewer, all of Middletown, Ohio; three 
daughters, Mrs. Ava James, Dry Ridge; Mrs. Odra Wallace, Seven Mile, Ohio; and 
Mrs. Junie Porfitt, Middletown, Ohio, with whom they are living.  Also 
23 grandchildren and one great grandchild, a host of other relatives and 
friends.

The funeral was conducted at the Landsaw Church of Christ, November 
20th with Rev. Francis Deaton, Rev. John Dalton, Rev. Elza and J.M. 
Cockerham and Rev. Willie Taylor, officiating.  Burial was near Landsaw.
