Obituary: Cox, Anna (Brashears) - Sunday, September 27, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal on 9/29/2009 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** COX, Anna 83, of Middletown, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Wolf County, Kentucky on October 27, 1925 to parents Carl and Lucy (King) Brashears. Anna worked as a seamstress for Gough-Lamb Cleaners for many years. She loved to sew and crochet and made dolls for her grandchildren. Mrs. Cox is survived by her son, Roland (Patti) Cox; daughters, Charlotte Tinch and Brenda (Gary) Yeazel; foster son, Donald (Donna) Brashears; brother, Jesse Brashears; sister, Golden Brashears Rose; five grandchildren, Kevin Tinch, Kyle Tinch, Dennis Cox, Dana Stephens and Richard Cobb II; five great grandchildren, Jessie Tinch, Ashley Cox, Allison Cox, Alex Cornele and Luke Cornele; and one great great grandchild, Jesse Tinch Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Dennis Cox in March 2008; her parents; brothers, Corbet Brashears, Dempsey Brashears, Hobert Brashears, Sampson Brashears, Luther Collins, Denmar Collins, Marvin Collins and Kernie Collins; sister, Elva Jane Byrd; and great great grandchild, Gerald Lloyd Tinch. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Damon Curtis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Springboro Cemetery.
