Obituary: Carroll, Ralph L. - Tuesday, August 11, 2009 Published in The Middletown Journal Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** CARROLL, Ralph L. age 83, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1926 in Wolfe County, KY to Robert and Nell (Alexander) Carroll. He was a press operator for Inland Container for 40+ years. He was an avid fisherman and loved old cars. Ralph was a life long member of the Eagles #528. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Mae Carroll in 2002; sisters, Heldi Neace, Marge Holland, Rosetta Edwards and Faye Lashley. Ralph is survived by his son, Terry (Angie) Hollon, Jr.; special nieces and nephews, Pauline Hollandsworth, Shirley Tarter, Betty Jo Wooton, Ray Hollon, Lois Fowler, Lillie Parks, Debbie Shoemaker, Steve Hollon, Janice Brewer, Eugene Hollon, William Lee Crowe, Orland Helton and Tammy Sparks; 1 grandchild, Toni Hollon; 3 step-grandchildren, Matt, Josh and Cody Brewer; 1 great-grandchild, Kelli Marie Smith; sisters-in-law, Jane Habib and Kenova Hollon. Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Wesley Duff officiating. Internment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
