Obituary: Bradley, Sam - Saturday, February 1, 1958 The Beattyville Enterpise - 1958 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** SAM BRADLEY DIES SUDDENLY AT VADA HOME Funeral services for Sam Bradley, 69, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at the Union Church of Christ by Rev. Sam Wilson. Mr. Bradley, the s/o the late Dillard H. and Nancy Bradley was born in Wolfe County, April 20, 1888 and died suddenly at his home Feb. 1. He was a member of St. Helens Lodge No. 684 F&A.M. and a World War I veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Bradley, Vada, Ky. Two sons Albert of Plymouth, Mich. and Thomas R. of Farmington, Mich. Three brothers, C.W. Bradley of Winchester, KY, Dudley Bradley of Lebanon, Ohio and Ted Bradley of Vada, KY. A daughter, Mrs. Harry Meadenoff of Pontiac, Mich. Two sisters, Mrs. C.W. Strong, Bowling Green, KY and Miss Ellice Bradley, Vada, KY. Also five grandchildren. Burial was in the Hieronymus Cemetery with the Newnam Funeral Home in charge. NOTE: Wife Lucy the d/o Hiram B.
