DAY Mrs. Malvira B. Day, 64, who had been visiting her children in Lee county since Memorial Day, was found dead in her bed at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Snowden, Wed. July 9. Evidently she has passed away in her sleep. Born in Wolfe County, Mrs. Day was the wife of the late Walter Day, a one time oil field worker in Lee. Mrs. Day is survived by one son, Thos. C. Day of Camden, Indiana; four daughters, Mrs. Vic Kincaid, Fincastle; Mrs. Geraldine Snowden, Beattyville; Mrs. Virgin Weaver, Centralia, Illinois; Mrs. Clay Shoemaker, Camden, Indiana. Also surviving are one brother and one sister Spencer Combs, Stanton, and Miss Martha Combs. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Day, Saturday, July 12, at the Zoe Church of God with Rev. Willard Brewer in charge. Burial was in the Day Cemetery near Zoe, with King Justice Funeral Home in charge of burial arrangements.
