Obituary: Brewer, Russell - Sunday, August 17, 2008 Published in The Middletown Journal on 8/19/2008 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** BREWER, Russell G. age 76, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1932 in Wolfe County, KY to Willie and Evelee (Linden) Brewer. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a forklift operator for Smurfit Diamond International and worked for Sears. Russell was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents. Russell is survived by his wife, Ruby (Lykins) Brewer of 56 years; children, Timothy (Linda Kay) Brewer of Douglasville, GA, Marianne (Paul) Rosendale of Springboro and Kristi Brewer of Lebanon; grandchildren, Jesse Brewer, Kristin and Lindsey Rosendale; 2 brothers, James (Betty) Brewer and Charlie (Corles) Brewer; 3 sisters, Illa Gallaway, Wilda Smith and June (Charles) Bowles and also survived by other loving family members and friends. The Family will receive Friends, Friday, August 22, 2008 from 6:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM with Jerry Minor officiating at Towne Blvd. Church of God. Family prefers for memorial contributions to be made to Towne Blvd. Church of God, 3722 Towne Blvd., Franklin, Ohio 45005.
