HEART ATTACK IS FATAL TO JAMES R. CABLE, 70

Jacob Russell Cable of Big Andy, had a heart attack at his home and 
died on March 2.  A son of the late S.W. Cable and Delia Shepherd Cable he 
was born on November 1, 1882, and died on March 2, 1953, at the age of 
70 years, four months and one day.

He was united in marraige to Dora Spencer on December 17, 1911, and to 
this union were born four children, Ronnie Cable of Middletown, Ohio; 
Clay Cable of Beattyville; Mrs. Seldon Lacy of Campton and Nona Ellen 
Cable, who preceded him in death several years ago.  Besides his wife and 
three children he is also survived by six grandchildren.  Three 
brothers; S.H. Cable, Salem, Oregon, Will Cable of St. Catherine, Mo; and Joe 
Cable of Beattyville; two sisters Mrs. Susan Drake of Vada, and Mrs. 
M.D. Kincaid of Beattyville, and a host of nieces, nephews and other 
relataives and friends to mourn his loss.

Pallbearers were his nephews, Stephen Kincaid, Raleigh Creech, L.F. 
Cable, S.W. Cable, Joseph D. Kincaid, Jimmy Cable, and Joe Cable, Jr.

Note: I believe his parents were Stephen W (Whig) Cable and Celia 
Shepherd.  Does anyone know?
