Obituary: Elkins, Hurley Mae (Kidd) - July 6, 1986 Wolfe County News - July 11, 1986 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** Hurley Mae Elkins, 82 of Campton d. July 6, at Nim Henson Geriatric Center, Jackson. Mrs. Elkins, daughter of the late Jim and Margaret Taulbee Kidd, was a Wolfe County native, a member of the Church of Christ and a housewife. Her husband, John Elkins preceded her in death. Survivors are one son, Henry Elkins of Campton; nine daughters, Delores Haddix, Daisy Cockerham, and Fay Bowling all of Middletown, Ohio, Dora Little and Sarah Lawson both of Campton, Lydia Wood of Illinois, Margaret Whitaker of Ft. Myers, Florida, Marcelle Carson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lucille Lurella of Wako, Texas; one brother, John Kidd of Hazel Green; one sister, Carrie Childers of Middletown, Ohio; three step children, Milburn Elkins, Mae Mays and Lizzie Aaron; 41 grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren.
