Obituary: Bowman, Ida Mae (Birchfield) - September 12, 1986

Ida Mae Bowman, 77 of Pomeroyton d. Sept. 12 at St. Claire Medical
Center, Morehead.
 
Mrs. Bowman was a native of Wolfe County, a member of the Flatrock
Community Church, and the widow of the late Estill G. Bowman.  She was 
a daughter of the late John and Emma Brewer Birchfield.
 
Survivors are six sons, Everett Bowman and Scotty Bowman, both of
Pomeroyton, Harold Bowman, and Roy Bowman, and Ray Bowman, all of
Lexington and Roger Bowman of Campton; two daughters, Elma Branhan of
Dayton, Ohio and Oneida Dalton of Florida; 28 grandchildren and 26 
great grandchildren.
 
Burial in the Brown Cemetery at Pomeroyton with Porter and Son Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
