Mrs. Ava James, 69, Dry Ridge, Kentucky, native of Wolfe County, died
Saturday at the Booth Hospital, Florence, Kentucky.
 
Survivors are her husband, Charles A. James: three daughters, Mary A.
Hughes and Thelma R. Glass both of Dry Ridge and Lennis King of
Randallstown, Maryland; three sons, Charles James, Jr., and Denzil H.
James both of Glencoe and Jerry Jones of Warsaw, KY.  Two brothers,
Dorcie Brewer and Arnold Brewer both of Middletown, Ohio; one sister,
Ora Wallace of Circleville, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 11 great
grandchildren.  Other relatives in Wolfe County are Yvonne James, Billy
James, Ruby Carroll and Mary Stamper.
 
Burial in the Cockerham Cemetery on Landsaw Fork of Stillwater in Wolfe
County.  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of
Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.
