James Braden

James C Braden, 87, Pine Knot, died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tenn.

He is survived by five sons, Lawrence Braden, London; Clarence Braden, Pine Knot; Concord C Brade, Williamsburg; Willie Braden, Winfield Tenn; and Joseph Braden, Cincinnati;  three daughters, Mrs Hazel Caddell, pine Knot; Mrs Mayne Thomas, Cincinnati and Mrs Geneva Gilreath, Williamsburg, a brother Elmer Braden, Jellico, a sister Mrs Mayne Boles, Jellico, 30 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church the Rev Wheller Blevens and the Rev Charles Taylor,  Burial will be in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ellison Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
