Lonnie Riddle
Retired Farmer Dies In Louisville - Lonnie M. Riddle, 68,
retired farmer of R. 3, Shelbyville, died at 5 p.m. last
Thursday at Norton Memorial Infirmary in Louisville, following a
long illness. Mr. Riddle was born in Shelby County
and was a son of the late Maston and Anna Richard Finney
Riddle. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Puckett Riddle, Shelbyville;
two daughters, Mrs. James Sanford, Louisville; Mrs. Ralph
Hatchell, Shelbyville; a son, James Mason Riddle, Shelbyville;
13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs.
John A. Miller, Shelbyville; Mrs. George Clampett, Cincinnati;
Mrs. Howard Bramblett, Jeffersontown; Mrs. George I. Huffman,
Lexington; two brothers, Ernest Riddle, Brandenburg; and George
Riddle, Louisville. Funeral services were conducted at
2:30 p.m. Sarurday from Shannon Funeral Home by the Rev. Fred T.
Moffatt, Jr. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Riddle, Tommy Huffman, Richard Bramblett,
John Lyle Miller, James David Riddle and Harry Smith, Jr.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to
the Heart or Arthritis Fund.
