born around 1815 in Pulaski Co., KY Any information about his parents,
siblings, birthplace, birthdate, marriage, etc. would be most
gratefully appreciated. Also, may have had a brother, James Henry
WOOLSEY. Or, any information on Richard WOOLSEY, b.1776 VA, d.
07/30/1852 in Phelps, Co., MO would be most helpful.

Seeking information on CUNDIFF; BUCHANAN, & MAYFIELD Families of
Pulaski Co., KY. Mrs. Rebecca Cundiff was b. ca. 1805, VA, and had
daughter, Emily J., b. ca. 1830, KY; and son, Pleasant J., b. ca.
1834, Owen co., Ind. Husband apparently deceased by 1840. Somehow
related was Dianna CUNDIFF b. ca. 1805, VA, possibly also a widow?
They were related someway to Pleasant Mayfield and wife, Jane D.
(BUCHANAN) b. 1800 Va, who married in Pulaski co., KY in 1821; and
also moved to Owen Co., Ind. Need to identify George W. and Elizabeth
Cundiff; and John and Ann Cundiff. Any clue welcome no matter how

Seeking any and all information on Henry S. FARMER who appears in the
early Pulaksi Co., Census of the 1800's and died in Pulaski Co. in
1840. I believe that he was related to Joseph FARMER who also appears
in the eary 19th century Census.

ADKINS,PRATT, DABNEY,HUCKABY,CRISWELL,SLAGLE, WOODS,JONES,
MORGAN,MILSAPS,MORRIS,YOUNG,GREGORY,TWIFORD/TWYFORD All families are
located in Wayne Co.,Ky. Some later moved to Whitley,Pulaski,
McCreary, and some show up in Fentress, Scott, Campbell Co.,Tn. Also

Seeking any information on the CUNDIFF family who moved from VA to
Hardin Co., KY. Especially interested in family of John Henry (b. 14
Jan. 1757, Bedford, VA) & Sarah (AYRES) CUNDIFF. He died in Hardin
Co., in 1837. Had 7 children, James; Richard; John; Pleasant A.; Sarah
(m. Christopher CUNDIFF, a cousin); Nancy; Polly. Have much to

LAY in Casey co, and are both buried in Shady Grove Cem near Liberty.

I am searching for information on a Joseph PRICE who wed Catherine
PHELPS December 20, 1825. I believe Joseph and Catherine were parents
of Peter (1826), Vincent (1828), William W. (1829), Nancy (1832),
Margaret (1834), Lavinia (1836), Katharine (1838), Lorenzo Dow (1842),
Joshua T. (1844), and Sarah F. (1846). I am trying to find out what
happened to the family after 1850, and establish if Joseph was the son
of Peter PRICE, censused in 1810 in Pulaski County.

Looking for information on the ancestors of Alice jane MCHARGUE b.
4/4/1856 in Laurel County. She married William Levi BOBBITT in Pulaski
County on 8/29/1872. They had children: Cora, Stella, Nancy T., James
H., John H., and George William. Alice Jane died 1/23/1937, and was
buried in the Bobbitt Cemetery in Somerset KY.

Looking for information on ancestors of Jane HUBBLE b. 9/16/1822 in
Pulaski County. She married James Levi BOBBITT on 12/28/1841 in
Pulaski County, and died on 8/3/1892 also in Pulaski County. I believe
her parents were William and Nancy Hubble from Maryland. Jane and
James Levi had children: William Levi, John Bruce, Mary, Nancy,
Susanna, Deniza Margaret, Rebecca J., and Sarah H.

I am looking for information on Robert TODD b.1790 - 1796 in
Washington Co . VIrginia. Don't know at this point who his wife was
but its listed as her being born in Indiana. In 1860 Robert was 70
years old according to Fed. census and was living with grand daughtaer
Jane Todd CLONCH daughter of Elijah Todd. Listed him as being born in
Virginia. Robert TODD was a brother to Anderson Todd, Henry TOdd and
Thomas Todd all borned in Va. Possibly Brother to Andrew Todd, William
Todd, Richard Todd. Thomas later moved to Illinois about 1851. Andrew
Todd died in 1876 in Pulaski Co. and was listed 75 yrs old. Parents
were William and Elizabeth Todd could be parents of Robert Todd also.
I am also looking for information on his sonSilas Todd born in Indiana
1822 - 1824 . He married Sarah DOUGLAS from Pulaski co. Ky on
8-9-1843. Silas served in the Civil War. He signed up at Camp CLio in
KY. and he became a part of Co. B 12th KY. Vol. Regiment Inf. He was
under the command of Captain Joseph Owen. This outfir in Oct. 1862
became part of the Army of Ohio's 1st Brigade at Perryville. Silas
Todd died around 1871 can only find at this point of 1 broathaer
Elijah also born in Ind. and Phebe A. Todd who married in Lincoln CO.
If anyone has any information on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I am looking for James ACTON, Sr. James Acton, Sr., had two sons.
James Jr., and John. John was my ggg-grandfather. The Acton's and
LACY'S intermarried frequently. They moved to Jackson County, IN cira
1820-1830. I have lost the trail in Rockcastle Co, KY in 1800. Any

I am interested in any information on the GRIFFIS surname in McCreary
and Pulaski County, KY. My relatives are: Grandfather: Ruben Gossett
Griffis, aka Luther G. Griffis, b 16 Oct 1892, Pulaski Co., KY (one of
8 children), who died 7 Aug 1926, McCreary Co., probably killed by a
Dept. of Revenue officer. Ruben's Stepfather: J. F. Griffis, b. 17 Feb
1872, Pulaski Co., KY; d. 9 Jan 1942, McCreary Co, married Ruben's
Mother: Nancy, possibly "Nannie," b. 5 Dec 1860, in TN; d. 24 Dec
1934, McCreary Co., about 1896. All are buried in the Keith Cemetery
in McCreary Co. What was Nancy's married name when Ruben (& other
children) was born? What was her maiden name? Could she have been
related to the GOSSETT family?

DODSON, Fortunatus, b. ca 1771 VA and d. 1864 in TN. In 1798, 200
acres were surveyed for "F" Dodson on Sinking Creek in Lincoln Co.
Shortly after this area became a part of Pulaski Co. In 1807
Forutnatus and his wife Frances (HANKS) sold 100 acres to John
FITZGERALD. They moved to Maury Co., TN in 1807-8 Any information or
insights greatly appreciated!
