Correction of my e-mail address. vanhook@us.ibm.com is correct. I am
looking for information on Robert Lonzo VANHOOK (born about 1906 died
1969), his father George Riley VANHOOK, and his mother Sally VANHOOK.
Other siblings include Sid VANHOOK, Lee VANHOOK, Iva VANHOOK, Nilly
(sp?)VANHOOK, and Mertle VANHOOK.

Looking for parents of John W. DIXON b. 1833. He had a brother Cyrus
DIXON born in 1835. That's about all I have to go on at this point.

Looking for VARDIMAN or VARDAMAN, preferably ante 1800. Specifically
William VARDIMAN/VARDAMAN and wife Anne. Were they married in KY, and
if so, where and when? Who were her parents? His parents? Any help on

Looking for information on WILSON. I found that a Jonas D. WILSON
married Mary CAMPBELL on April 3, 1890 in Pulaski Co., KY My
gggrandfather was Jonas WILSON who lived in Johnson Co, GA. Are these
2 Wilsons the same man?

I am looking for information on my great great grandparents that were
married in Sommerset Ky. His name was Bolling HARE. He married Mary
BOYKIN. She was born in Kentucky in 1812. Her parents were John BOYKIN
and Louisa BLOOM BOYKIN. I think they were married around 1830. I
would be most grateful for any information on any of these people.

Harrison Boswell FREENAN b. 1828 TN married Tabatha CONNER had at
least 3 children William W. FREEMAN, Alexander Louis FREEMAN and
Harrison B. FREEMAN. Was Harrison Freeman of Pulaski, KY in 1850 this
family? or related? Tabitha died in Harrison Co., TX and Harrison died
in Coryell Co.,TX

Any information on William and/or Alexander TAYLOR appreciated. Will
happily share any info. if I can. Here is what I know. Possible family
is: 1. John TAYLOR and Elizabeth ??? probably of VA, maybe NC born
circa 1790-1800 2. Alexander TAYLOR, b. 3-22-1818, VA, married to Sara
PERRY 2. William TAYLOR, b. 1-22-1821, Ashe Co., NC married to Mary
PERRY 2. George, b. abt. 1825 in VA? 2. Thomas, b. 1-9-1839 in Ashe
Co., NC 2. Lucinda, b. 10-3-1838 in Ashe Co., NC 2. Catherine, b. 1837
in NC I am directly decended from both William and Alexander. Would
love to find confirming information that this was indeed a family as
shown. Alexander came into Pulaski Co., KY around 1845-1850, and
William came into Pulaski Co., KY in the mid to later 1850's.

I am looking for descendents of Ephraim EASTHAM and Priscilla
ROBINSON. They were married in Pulaski County on October 8, 1847.
Ephraim is the son of John EASTHAM and Mary (Polly) DENHAM. I know
only of his son James, would like to know others. Also would like to
know descendants of James. I know Jerome, Jacob, and Priscilla, but I
understand there were several others. Would like to hear from Easthams
who still live in Pulaski County. Thanks.

James Elmo (Chuck) BARBER - b. July 16, 1872 - Casey Co., Ky. / Elbert
L. (Bone) BARBER - February 18, 1868 - Casey Co., Ky.. These guys had
the same Father: John M. Barber - b. 1836 Pulaski Co., Ky. Would very
much like to find out for sure who their Mother was, could anyone
please help me! For the SPAW: Could anyone tell me where Emily Jane
(Spaw) White & Malvina (Spaw-Randolph) Barber are buried. Also would

STROXTILE. Looking for the father of William Stroxtile, b.1847. His
Mother, sibling and Wm and his wife - Nancy MACKLIN lived on a farm in
Pulaski co during the 1860 census,and William wrote out a will. Also
he married his wife there in Pulaski county in 1866, 21st Dec. I'd
appreciate any information on his Father or him or his brothers or
sisters.

l am looking for my great grandparents Simpson Barnett MAYFIELD, born
1875, died 1942 (parents: John M. MAYFIELD and Ellen HARPER Lovins?)
and his wife Mary Alice MCINTIRE, born 1875, died 1968 (MCINTYRE?)
whose parents were Zachary T. MC INTIRE and Louisia MCGINNIS. Simpson
and Mary Alice had children in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY and then
moved to Indianapolis.

Married 3 Feb 1846 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY to Isabella SAWYER
born 25 Mar 1825. James HOWELL died 9 Dec 1862 in Louisville. Isabella
SAWYER died Dec 1898 Clark Co., IN. They had 6 children: Mary H HOWELL
and William H HOWELL (twins) born abt 1848 KY, Amelia E HOWELL, born
27 Dec 1849 KY, Theodore J HOWELL born 4 Apr 1855 OH, Casandra B
HOWELL and Charles James HOWELL (twins) born 12 Jul 1857 KY.

A James BLANKENSHIP is shown in the 1830 census for Pulaski Co., Ky.
Surname spelling aside, I believe he may be the father of my Austin
BLANKINSHIP, born in Kentucky 30 Aug 1820 (possibly 1825, according to
some census records). The age group figures show that this James had a
son in the category that would have applied to Austin. A cryptic
listing in an old family Bible indicates that Austin's father's name
was likely James. The given name BARNET also comes into play, as that
was the name Austin gave one of his sons. I see other Barnet
Blankinship/Blankenships in Kentucky records but have established no
connection. The bottom line is that I am interested in any information
on Blankenship/Blankinships in early Pulaski County. Thanks for your
