PULASKI COUNTY need any info on following Pulaski County families John
Samuel Rayborn m Elizabeth Whitaker @1855..they supposely came from Overton
Co., Tn. but their courthouse burned so no early records. Have John's
parents as Robert and Sarah ? Rayborn and Elizabeth Whitaker 's parents as
William and Rebecca ? Whitaker. Also need info on Phillippi's. Who was
David that m. Jane Fry's parents.. Christian or Christopher? Need actual
date of death of George Shea d@1925 near Burnside m 1908 in Tn to Laura
Phillippi. Other Surname in area are Anderson, Black, Cline , Durham,
Humphrey, Jones, Lucas, Morgan, Stansberry, Stout, Swift, Watkins. Thanks

OSBORNE/SNYDER/HUNT/HAMLINS/HAMLITS Searching for parents of Mary (Polly)
SNYDER who m. Jesse OSBORNE about 1832 prob. Ashe Co., NC. They came to KY
in 1857 and lived in Pulaski Co. and Whitley Co. In notes written by their
son, William Preston OSBORNE, he mentions working in Kansas in the 1870s
for Uncle Eli SNYDER, Uncle Jimmy HUNT, Uncle Johnnie HUNT, and Uncle Line
HAMLINS/HAMLITS. Apparently, Eli SNYDER was a brother of Mary (Polly)
Snyder.

some research on my family ancestors. "The Todd Family" My Father was Stanley
Andrew Todd of Lincoln County. His Parents was William Johnson Todd and Effie
Clay Bastin Todd. William Johnson Todd was borned In Pulaski county Sept 9,1873
and died Jan 28, 1955 in Lincoln County. William Johnson Todd his father was
Andrew (Andy)Todd, he was borned in Pulaski county Mar 17, 1849 and died in
Lincoln co April 6,1923. Andrew father was Silas Todd, He was borned around
1822 somewhere in Indiana I think. He married Sarah Doughlas of Pulaski
county, Ky. August 9,1843. He died July 15,1871 in Pulaski Co. Ky. He was
buried at woodstock cementary in Pulaski co, Ky. Silas and Sarah had 7
Children. Their names are Milanda, John, Andrew,George A.,Elijah Thomas,
Nancy Ellen, James H, and Elizabeth. His father was Robert Todd borned
about 1796 I don't have any idea where. In the census of 1860 of Pulaski
Co. Ky. He was living with James and Jane Clonett. I have no idea of who
these people are, perhaps his daughter. If you have any information on

information on Stephen L. FREEMAN (b. 13 Jan 1823, Bedford Co, Virginia) who
moved to Pulaski Co, Kentucky prior to 1843. He married Susan J. LOVE in 1843.
He served in Company H of the 4th Kentucky Volunteer Regiment in the Mexican
War. Their son William Scott FREEMAN (b. 9 June 1851, Pulaski Co, KY)
married Harriet Ann BARTON (8 Apr 1874) in Pike Co, Illinois and they had
nine children there.

Pineknot,Whitley/Pulasky/McCreary Co. KY mar: Elvian MOORE. Possible
parents for John are William Wesly GILREATH and Sarah Jane GREGORY. John
and Elvian had following children that I know of Nancy Belle, William
Wesley, John Granville, Sidney, Tom and possible Annie. Any help would be

I am trying to find out information about my grandfather and grandmother. I
found them in the 1900 Pulaski County census, but can find nothing more. At
that time they lived in the Point precinct. I have reason to believe that
they lived in McCreary County later. Grandfather's name is Chip or Jep
Kennedy, dob April, 1852. Grandmother's name is Bettie A. (Higgenbotham)
Kennedy, dob October, 1863. Known children are William H., Thomas J.,
Robert, John S., Andrew J., Ogle B., George W., Grant M., Abe L. and Dewey.
Would like to know date of death for Grandfather and Grandmother and where
they are buried. Any information on this family would be appreciated. Am
trying to start a family tree.

William HERRIN, Sr. moved to Laurel Co. from Pulaski Co. in 1737 after
marrying Sary WHITAKER, his 2nd wife. He had one son Thomas HERRON by her.
Living in Laurel Co. were his two sons: William HERRON, Jr. and Shadrack
HERRON who died in the Civil War. Their mother was Sally EVANS, daughter of
Capt. John EVANS of Pulaski Co. William was the son of Shadrack HERRING who
came from Rowan Co., NC in 1792 to Clark Co., KY in 1793. He was there
until Montgomery Co. broke off in 1797. Shadrack, his brother William
HERRING, and a widow, Sarah HERRING traveled together and came to Lincoln
Co. in 1798, it becoming Pulaski in 1799. William HERRING died in 1818
Pulaski Co., leaving wife, JAne and his line went to Marion Co., IN as well
as Bourbon Co., KY. Shadrack HERRING moved to Jackson Co., AL in 1820. I am
looking for all possible information on the HERRIN/HERRON families of
Laurel Co. and any help im identifying the parents of William [bef
1765-1818] and Shadrack HERRING [1765/1770-aft 1830]. William HERRIN, Sr.
was born in 1786 NC and died in May 1860 in Laurel Co., KY.

main interest is in the STOGSDILL [Vachel & Benjamin] and HERRIN [Shadrack

Washington Carter, mother Mary Ann "Polly" Raybourn. Any info on
CARTERS---THOMAS I BN ABT 1790 and his family. GEORGE WASHINGTON CARTER BN
1803-1812 married Mary Ann "Polly" Raybourn (She was sometimes called
Fanny) Information on the RAYBOURN FAMILY. Believe her father was JOHN
RAYBOURN. GW Carter was a teacher and had about 12 children. They lived in
Adair and Russell CO later in life.

Rita (YOUNG) who married a (...) Chestnut. Marriage might have taken place
in Kansas but she had a sister in Lincoln County. Rita was born 1868 and
died 1937 in Highland, Lincoln County. Any information gratefully received.
