Ashley Group Photo was taken at Torrent:
Ethel Sparks Ashley and Carl Thomas Ashley, with a puppy between them, Treva Jones Ashley and Earl Ashley, Pearl Ashley Moore and Alvin Moore, and Ella Belford Ashley and Charles Thomas Ashley, parents of Carl, Earl and Pearl. The Ashley's were working in the timber business and living in Torrent, Evelyn and Leeco, Kentucky. Carl Thomas Ashley and Ethel later moved to Nicholasville where he started the C. T. Ashley Feed and Grain Company and Ashley's Camp on Herrington Lake.
