1847 - August 04 - Cumberland County, Kentucky Land Records, Book L, Pgs 27-28:
This indenture made this fourth day of August AD 1847 between Samuel Garmon and Elizabeth Garmon his wife of the County of Adair and state of Kentucky of the one part and Thomas C. Tuck of the same county of the other part.
Witnesseth
That the said Samuel Garmon and Elizabeth his wife, have for and in consideration of three hundred dollars hereafter to be paid to James H. Hamilton have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell and hereby convey unto the said Thomas C. Tuck fifty acres of land, and also eight elevenths of one hundred acres of land lying and being on the waters of Caseys Fork of Marrowbone and in Cumberland County Kentucky: The said fifty acres being bounded as follows to wit: Beginning on three beeches in a line of thence East 45 poles to a red oak and walnut; thence N 14 E 28 poles to a beech tree, thence N 14 E 42 poles to a poplar, maple and beach, thence N 46 W 66 poles to two beeches and maple in a line of the said Adam Garmon, thence with his line S 55 W 112 poles to the beginning.
The said one hundred acres are one half of a survey of two hundred acres pattented in the name of Adam Garmon and bounded as follows to wit:

Beginning at the 1st corner of the 200 survey on a sugar tree and buckeye thence N 55 E with the 1st line of the said survey 102 poles to a and hickory with 4th corner of said 200 acre survey, thence S 22 E 160 poles with the 4th line of said 200 acres survey to the beginning of both the 200 acre survey and the one hundred acres hereby conveyed.
Now the said Samuel Garmon and Elizabeth Garmon his wife do hereby warrant and forever defend the right and title in and to the said fifty acres of land, and eight elevenths of the said one hundred acres of land, being an undivided ______ of said one hundred acres of land, which is one half of said two hundred acres, unto the said Thomas C. Tuck his heirs against the claim or claims of themselves their heirs and also against the claim or claims of each and every other person or persons whatever.
