He is buried in the Burke/Boyatt Family Cemetery, Stearns, McCreary County, Kentucky. Married Margaret Burke, daughter of John Granville and Anna Blevins Burke, on July 4, 1889, in Scott County, Tennessee. She was born July 22, 1868, in Scott County, Tennessee and died October 17, 1948, in McCreary County, Kentucky. She is buried in the Burke/Boyatt Family Cemetery in Stearns, McCreary County, Kentucky.
