Deed Books 1-4 covering 1818-1858 of Whitley County, Kentucky. Families of present day Whitley, McCreary and surrounding counties. The deeds are an assortment of records that contain revealing clues not found elsewhere. Included are complete Wills, Power of Attorney, indentures, orphans, maintenance contracts, Chancery cases, military grants, slave transportations, and releases found among the land transactions. These abstracts contain family relationships and connections together with clues of immigration and emigration indicated in these various records. book is currently 274 pages of families of Daniel & Rachel Neal of Whitley Co., KY. Their descendants are all over the US with a couple of famous people and many stories. I have had many good reviews and compliments on the research.

On lower front cover, an area where likely a name used to be embossed has been marked/scratched/dug out. Interior is in fine condition: crisp clean and tight. A good copy of scarce Kentucky county history and genealogy.
