OWENS HOLLOW,  OLD DOZIER CEMETERY,  DOZIER BRANCH

The records of who is buried in this cemetery are not in any of the five Knox County, KY Cemetery books, if anyone else can help me with records of who is buried here, please do so.
Unfortunately, many of these old graves only have a field stone to mark the grave.  Maybe someday we could all get together and do a memorial stone for James W. H. Dozier, his wife Eliza Melvina Cain and have their thirteen children also carved on the stone in this cemetery.

Recorded in 1997 by Mary Ellen Kerr Holmes.  I visited this cemetery twice.

Several graves in this old Dozier Cemetery at Owens Hollow have field stones about a foot square marking the graves. There are no names scratched into them.  I firmly believe  because of the many years of research I and others have
done on our Dozier ancestors that Sarah Ann Dozier, wife  of Thomas and mother of Josiah & James W. H. Dozier listed  above as Grantee's of the land on Richland Creek was the  first burial at Owens Hollow? Dozier Br.
