The last will and testament of Anderson Y Messer of Knox County 
Kentucky, 

I Anderson Messer consider the uncertainty of this mortal life and 
being of sound mind and memory blessed by Almight God for the same do 
make and publish this my will and testament in manner and form 
following. I give and bequath unto my beloved wife Lucindy Messer all 
of my real estate which ios my land with its appenterrances during her 
natural life and at her death it is to be equaly divided amongh my 
lawful heirs, Thommy Messer & James Messer and Moses Messer & Mary 
Mills formerly Messer and Rubany Messer & John M. Messer & Rosey 
Messer and Cosety (?) Messer and lastly as to all the real residue & 
remainder of my personl estate goods & charte of what kind and nature 
sever I give and bequeth the same to my said beloved wife Lucindy 
Messer whom I hereby appoint sole executor of the last will and 
testiment hereby revoking all former wills by me made, In witness of 
hereof I have here unto set my hand & seal the 24 day December 1888 in 
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & eithy eight.
