| MATT MERIDA, 85, of Barbourville, passed away Sunday, September 12, 1999 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Jeff Merida and Vina Mills Merida. He was the husband of Cleo Broughton Merida of Barbourville. He was a retired coal miner and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 14 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Bunch and the Rev. Rollin Bradshaw officiating. Burial followed in the Manning Cemetery on Roadfork. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
