Rebecca Lue Ellen GIBSON Rebecca Lue Ellen Gibson, 88, of Henson Hollow, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005 in Barbourville Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late Mercer and Minnie Ellen Farmer Ballard. Her first and second husbands, Eddie G. Engle and Custer C. Gibson, preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by five children, Daniel Ballard, Betty Ellen Honeycutt, Della Faye Gibson, Barbara Ann Newman and Virgie Sue Taylor; one sister, Eula Mae McDaris; two brothers, Sherman and Hiwatha Ballard; 32 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; seven great, great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Friday, Oct. 28 with the Rev. Jimmy Lee officiating. Burial was in Lay Cemetery at Little Brush Creek. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
