This is my GGGrandmother Virginia Ballinger,

daughter of Richard Ballinger (one of the founding fathers of Barbourville, KY) and his second wife Mildred Herndon.

Virginia Ballinger was born about 1815 and died 1850, so her picture is taken before that. I think about 1849. She married Leander Miller 16 Jan 1834 in Knox County, Kentucky. They moved to Manchester, Clay County, Ky where Leander had a mercantile. She probably died in Manchester.
