Young Cemetery
According to a relative of Mary Young, she was the only person buried in the Young
cemetery. Her burial took place across the street from the old maple tree in the
above photo. When the owners of the land knocked the stone over while bush-hogging, the
neighbor/relative of Ms. Young brought the stone across the street to his property
where it now rests against an old smokehouse.
