This obituary is for Submission 'Jane' Cowen Kirkby. She is the daughter of FNU Kirkby and Elizabeth LNU. She married Robert Kirkby in Cincinnati about 1835 to 1836. This obituary was in the 'Review and Herald' February 5, 1895 issue - a publicaton of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

KIRKBY.--Died Jan. 20, 1895, at Seneca, Lake Co., Fla., of abscess of the bowels, Mrs. Jane Kirkby, aged 76 years and 28 days. She leaves two sons and two daughters to mourn. Words of comfort were spoken by G. R. Garvin, from 1 Thess. 4:13-18. A. C. Bird.
