POLSTON / POSTON FAMILY CEMETERY

Inventoried and Submitted by Edith Bastin

LOCATION : The Polston/Poston Cemetery is located on what was once known as the OLD STEPHEN GOODMAN FARM in the 1800's and known as the ISAAC MARTIN PRESLEY FARM in 1930-1971. It is located about ¼ mile off Hwy 88 on a hill, seven miles west of Munfordville, Hart County, Kentucky, in the area known as the Kessinger Community. The cemetery is in very bad shape as it is grown up and many of the tombstones are broken and many of the gravesites are sunk in.

All tombstones and field-stones are covered by debris, and many stones have sunk into the ground. (I have been familiar with this cemetery all my life as I was reared on this farm.)
