Samuel Stockwell, Jr. was born 28 Jun 1811 and died 30 May, 1880, the son of Samuel S. Stockwell, Sr. and Arabella Hodge.  Charlotte C. Ashton was born 1831 and died 23 Apr 1880, the daughter of Jacob Ashton and Sarah Comly.  They were the second generation to reside in  Stockwell House built in 1804 by his father, until their deaths.  They were both laid to rest in the Fleming County Cemetery, in Flemingsburg, Ky.  See obituaries for more information about his life and accomplishments in Flemingsburg, Fleming Cnty, Ky.
