SERVICES HELD FOR JAMES ED SAPP

James Ed Sapp, 85, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester Knox, Tuesday afternoon after a long illness. Formerly of Fleming County, he was a retired farmer and a member of Everybody's Church and the Bath County Fox Hunters Association.

Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Ezra Cline, May's Lick; two sons, Joe Sapp Bath County and Arthur Sapp Indianapolis; a brother George Sapp, Cincinatti; a half brother B W Sapp, Hillsboro Ohio; and a half sister, Mrs. Luther Barbee, Wallingford.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday at the home of Mrs. Knox by the Rev Harrison Otis. Burial was in the Olive Branch Cemetery in Fleming County.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Stewart, Scott Rogers, Claude Montgomery, Pete Goodpaster, Thomas Clark, James Richardson, Palmer Coyle, and Jimmie Griffey. Honarary pallbearers were members of the Fox Hunters Association.

The body was taken to the Knox residence from the Richardson, Dicken and Dotson Funeral Home.
