This Picture was made in Fort Knox KY in about 1940 when the "Home Guard" of Barbourville/Knox Co. (?) was activated.

Right: John T. Hubbard, b. 1913 Knox Co, son of Thomas Hubbard b. 1883 Clay Co, grandson of Isaac "Ike" Hubbard b`. 1856 Clay Co KY.

John's wife, Flossie Mae Shorter, was Estil Scalf's first cousin.
