Defenders of McAfee Station, Other Battles

While researching the McAfee brothers, I found a list of Defenders at McAfee Station during the May 9, 1781, Indian attack. Listed among the names is William McBrayer. I know he was an early Anderson settler. Also, found a muster roll of the Kentucky Militia that served from Mercer County during the Indian wars of 1793 including the Battle of Fallen Timbers. Many Anderson Co. names are to be found there, McBrayer, McGinnis, Buntin, Abbott and others. Luther
